What to do in Livigno in summer

From e-bikes on the Mottolino trails to the lake, all the way to duty-free shopping: the Skialo guide to enjoying Livigno when the snow goes on holiday.

In summer Livigno sheds its skin: the slopes become trails, the lifts open to riders and the town fills up with bikes. The Mottolino and Carosello 3000 area offers over 3,200 metres of lift-served vertical, with lines for every level — from flow lines for beginners to the black runs of the bike park.

If gravity isn't your thing, the loop around Lake Livigno and the Spol cycle path are perfect for a family ride: 17 almost-flat km, with picnic areas and refreshment stops. Our E-Bike City models and children's trailers are designed for exactly this.

Between rides: trekking at Carosello, kayaking on the lake, and duty-free shopping on Via Plan. In June and September accommodation prices drop and the trails are half-empty: the best time to discover the valley.

Skialo's tip: book your bike online at least a few days ahead — you save 20% and find it ready for pick-up, with a helmet included for the kids.
